Yes, I will. Yes, I will.
Danny had planned a wonderful proposal for Marry. She had refused his proposal twice. He knew that he must not have done enough to convince her that he would bring her happiness.
Marry was very blissful when Danny proposed to her, the first time at an Italian restaurant and the second time at a Japanese restaurant. But she refused all his proposals. She had a strange belief in her, perhaps she read it from a book, "everything will come to a perfect end when it happens repeatedly for three times". She wanted a third proposal from Danny, she believed that would bring eternity to their marriage. No one had ever proven that it was true anyway.
Danny couldn't wait to see Marry. He hugged a large bouquet of ninety nine pink roses on his chest. He had a bow tie round his neck. He looked so gorgeous in his tux. He could see the proposal episodes when going down in an elevator, heading his car and leaving the recently-painted building. He saw him kneeling to Marry with the roses and a diamond ring, she finally said 'yes' to his proposal. They kissed and cuddled amid blessings of other diners. Unfortunately, he overlooked the truck at the junction. His car crashed into the truck.
Marry saw the car crash. She instantly ran to Danny's car. Danny was dragged out from the wrecked car but he had lost signs of life.
"Do you hear me, Dan? Talk to me."
Marry wiped away blood oozing from Danny's mouth as if he was slightly wounded.
"Yes,I will. Yes, I will. I don't need your third proposal. I will marry you"
Marry regretted her request for the third proposal. If she didn't insist on it, she would have been Mrs. Danny by then. But it was all too late. Happiness had slipped away from her side silently. She should have trusted her love to Danny rather than an unproven utterance. Danny had gone forever...
